Either is fine. If one shoots better than the other, then that's the way to go. Years ago, I loaded Hornady 170 gr. for my .30-30, and my g/f used factory Rem. 150 Core Lokt. If you looked at the actions of the deer we shot, as well as the wound channels, you would not be able to tell the difference.
