I have a CVA Hunterbolt Magnum and it really likes the 250 grain QT made by Precision Rifle. It shoots one inch groups at 100 yards with 100 grains of 777 FFG loose. It also likes the .357 195 grain offering, with the same receipe. Both are saboted bullets. The .357 sabot for the .45 is an excellent load for shots up to 200 yards on deer.
