My son has been using 250 gr XTP's out of his T/C Encore now (110 gr's 777,MMP short sabot) for two years & shot a doe this year quartering away at about 70 yds.
Bullet went in about 2nd last rib and lodged under pelt opposite shoulder.
Recovered bullet was perfectly mushroomed w/jacket & weighed 227 gr's--so good weight retention as well as doin the job.
