I am also a big fan of the hand warmer pouches that you wear around your waste. I usually just use either a cheap pair of wool gloves with the textured palm and fingers or the cheap polar fleece type of gloves. If it's really cold, I'll place a chemical hand warmer in the pouch. For archery, I have cut a slit in the palm area that my release fits through. Started doing that this year and haven't looked back. Now if I could only keep my feet as warm as my hands.
