for me its a feeling i get when up in the stand if i want to shoot or not shoot a deer is just a deer.i aint getting paid for it im just out to have a good time in the woods.have no mounts really dont want any yet

a yearling is right up there in stupidity with a mature buck trailing a doe, he traded in his smarts for some splittail, but im not out to make my winter hobby challenging i just want to enjoy myself.

a young buck around here weighs what a good doe weighs, if not more, so that just means more meat.i do usually pass on young bucks most of the time and am very happy to kill does 4 or 5 a year but i will stand up for the hunters who want to shoot whatever makes them happy.
