Nah, Texas is the wild west....we ran out there and planted our family flag. We had to fight off the natives and the other squatters but it was worth it!

No, really, I bought in about 2 years ago and became a co-owner as opposed to technically hunting on my dad's land. It was a significant amount of money but beyond the deer hunting, its an investment. Maybe I'll build a home out there some day, I don't know.

It sucks for running livestock. Its too rocky and dense brush covered to run a significant herd of cattle. And the creek washes out the fence down in the canyon about twice a year.
