Performace isn't near as good as an SMK on game, and they aren't good till you get to .338 diameter.

My main interest in the 6.5-284 is hunting whitetails. I am really curious about the 130 grain Scirrocco 2 with a claimed .575BC. If that BC is for real I would think 3200 would be doable with the right powder like RL17 or 4831.
Those numbers looked really good downrange I just dont know anywhere it has been verified.
