RE: reloading, how to start
I strongly suggest you find someone that knows reloading and lean on him for coaching.....It' s not terribly complex but you need to get basics down and without misunderstanding. I' m reminded of a guy that loaded a bunch of .303 Brittish with 800-x.....thank god he asked before he shot them.
I agree, Lyman has a good manual but I prefer Hornady' s. I strongly recommend the RCBS Rockchucker kit. It' s fine stuff and lasts a lifetime. I assume you want to reload metallic rifle or pistol shells.
Let us know what cartridge you wish to reload and you' ll get lots of advise here.
