How often? Honest people will be honest, poachers will poach. The DMAP is just as likely to be "ignored" as the areas already in place, or the lack of check in system allowing people to not even tag a deer, or the sharing of tags or .... (insert any scumbag way of getting around the system)

from what i hear most of dmap tagging that is done illegal is on PRIVATELAND in clinton county on first week when you cant harvest doe out of dmap areas.
doe numbers are so low in clinton county that they cant even fill dmap tags on publicland unless they hunt more than 3 weeks hard.then thats not sure bet.
dmaps on SFL need to be stopped .MEAT/GREED getting that doe before you or me is what is driving it now.
i happened to watch a program on tv ,they were interviewing 3 hunters which are related.theytalked about having 2 or 3 doe tags ea and how they kill 3 doe each and hunt until they do.they said it gives them 2 months of MEAT.
we were raised not to kill off all deer in your hunting area so you had deer next year.with large WMU and unlimted amount of tags our way of thinking has been long gone.it started in 1998 and is what DCNR/PGC wants.less deer.some areas ,no deer do to overharvest of doe.
way some hunters are shooting at what bucks or doe are left is DISGUSTING.they think they are GROUSE and you have to empty your gun on them .i saw guy with 10 shot clip in his model rem 7600,when he sees anyone ,he takes it out and puts in a 3 shot clip.
they have to get MEAT.........
i did see some things this year i liked.i saw crews from RENOVO not killing a doe.but in came crews behind them that had camps and killed doe.their comment was,SPROUL WE NEED LOTS OF CAMP MEAT OR SPROUL IF WE DONT KILL THEM OFF SOMEONE ELSE WILL.............
OH WELL, i talked to much again, maybe someday those who kill for meat only will understand that what they do is ruining hunting for deer,grouse,rabbits.you cant keep KILLING and expect anything to get better.
