I like how you start out by saying that you don't want to start a fight when that's exactly what you're looking to do. Mathews has plenty of bows that are under $800.00 but not thier top end line. Nowadays you can't hardly any company's top end bow for under $800.00. Does Mathews advertise alot sure but that makes me wonder where other bow company's money is going when thier advertising budget is muck less than Mathews but thier bows are just as expensive.
