As mentioned, Mathews does far more to promote the sport and pays far more money out to shooters than nearly ALL other manufacturers combined, that's a feat that truly needs to be respected, regardless of what any of us think about their rigs. Also, the reason that most Pro shooters choose Mathews in indeed their HUGE pay-outs! If you win a major event using a Mathews, you're getting a sweet pay day!!! It's a no brainer that when you shoot for a living... do you want a $5,000 paycheck if ya win or a $20,000 check for winning the same event shooting a Mathews.

Concerning the unit price, they are right in line with other companies top rigs, take a look at BowTechs, Hoyts, etc. Also, you can clearly see the difference in these higher priced bows compared to cheaper rigs.... look at the fit and finish of all componets and accessories on the Big 3 (Mathews, BowTech, Hoyt) compared to cheaper bow manufacturers like Darton, Pearson, Bear, etc., and whoever else? You get what you pay for.... no different that with all of our bowhunting accessories these days.
