different bows fro different people, before choosing my mathews i shot multiple different bows and i felt that the DXT shot the best and felt the best for me, so i didn't mind spending $700 on a bare bow.

and personally i've never seen a bare hunting bow that costed $900, it seems like the advertised price and the actual price of most bows are different.
