little over 2k for the sass form dpms. 1500 for the remington r25. I am thinking the sass. I love that stock and bipod. If i can get that for 2100 or 2200 might go that way. Whats another 500 bucks on a 1500+ plus gun

The .308 caliber AR rifles are just as effective at ANY range as the bolt gun counterparts. The question is, What kind of shooting range do YOU have. The gun will be capable of doing some amazing things. Especially the Armalite AR10T or DPMS LR308. The Bushmasters may not be quite the guns at the Armilite or DPMS but they still will put a deer down at 2-300 yards or much more if the shooter is capable.
Be prepared for sticker shock though! the .30 cal ARs are pricey!!!!
