Default Pretty good morning!

I'm not an extremely experienced coyote hunter, but the suckers wouldn't leave me alone during deer season! I grabbed my thumbhole T/C Encore with a T/C Custom Shop .264 Win Mag barrel and Leupold 4-12 and went out to see if I can get even with them! I didn't do anything special, simply covered my scent, dressed in full camo and set in my deer stand where I'd seen them travel all year!

Sure enough a nice female came out about 7:45 and presented me a broad side shot at 49 yards! I was kinda hoping for a little more long range challenge, but I was pleased with a perfect heart shot and an instant kill none the less! ONE DOWN! Barely an hour went by and here comes "big daddy"! A really big burly male was trotting along the fence line across the field. I was preparing to lead him a bit and let her fly and all of a sudden he stopped and quartered to me! I let the ole 264 fly and dropped him like a sack of taters!! 194 yards and he didn't even take a step! Now I'm hooked! I've been looking at electronic calls and also looking into a little smaller bullets for my 264. I found some 85 grain Sierra Varmiters that I'm gonna try. The 140 grain Core Loc was pretty hard on em as you can see in the pic! I didn't show the exit wound on the male as there was "stuff" hanging out of the hole, but you can see the exit hole on the female!
