I would leave him alone. he broke it off fighting or marking his area. It gives him personality and character. Nobody's perfect!
I had to make the same choice a few years ago with an old 10pt.He had one tine that was busted off about halfway and his shoulders were scuffed up from itching (back far enough from the cape)he had nicks in his ears and a large scar on his chest.What a life!
