Question Upgrage my HCA bow?

I have a short limb High Country Split Force X1 bow that is about 10 years old. I have not shot it that much, but I am getting serious about bowhunting this year. This bow has good draw weight (not sure what max is). I recently emailed HCA and said some paint/covering was coming off the bottom limb and asked if there was a way to make it stop peeling. It seems every time I shoot it loosens something.

Anyway they have been bought out and what they do now is an trade in program.

So firstly, should I be considering upgrading my bow? Is there a way to wrap limbs with some kindo flexible covering?

They said if I traded in my bow I could get an Iron Mace for $399 or a Speed Pro for $599. Is this a deal or is this just regular retail price? Should I be considering other brands in lieu of HCA for this price range?
