I think I have a winner. I took it to the range today. In spite of a 30 mph cross wind my first group was 7/8 inch center to center. I did my best to try to fire between gusts. After checking the group I called it a day. I can tell thats its going to be a shooter. I was shooting the 120 grain Federal factory loads with Nosler partition bullets. When I got home I loaded one box of handloads with IMR 4831 and 115 grain Nosler ballistic tips. My plan is to settle on 100 gr X bullets or 100 grain Partitions. However if it shows a preference for the 120' s, Thats fine to. Most of the loading manuals seem to think that the Roberts is best suited for 100 grain bullets but I will listen to the gun.
