Didn't see anything in your post indicating that the farmer had restricted the husband & wife to just the other side of the road.

Why didn't anyone speak up (in protest) when the husband & wife first started hunting on "your" side?

Something ain't adding up here. Also with just 6 acres over there I wouldn't burn any bridges and would try to work it out with the farmer when things settle down or during the off season.

Might even require a little green pursuation.
