I've never run the numbers but its becoming obvious that the timber dollars over shadow hunter dollars.
Hunting as a big business for the state of PA does not seem to be a factor in the decisions made at the top. I fail to see how hikers and bird watchers will make up the revenue lost as dissatisfaction, attrition and age add to the decline in hunter numbers and the corresponding dollars.
