Seriously, though, I'm not really sure that aluminum is the best material for constructing a muzzle brake. It probably works fine for a 223, but I'm not sure I'd want to count on it staying in one piece long when subjected to the pressures and volumes of gas belched out by a hard kicking magnum. There is a lot of force on the muzzle brake in order for it to work well.
