No blackpowder, i dont think those polled where asked why. Also worth noting, here is no way of knowing what portion of the voters were nonhunters vs. hunter though either. Wether they were all nonhunters, all hunters half & half or some other combination, it was simply stated it was a sportsmen related poll taken by citizens in the reps area.

Regardless of the "makeup" of those surveyed, I also dont think "nonhunters" should be on the sidelines telling us hunters whether we should be paying more or not anyway. Though I dont think it unbelievable that nonhunting people would voice nonsupport if they know the feelings of friends or family who do hunt or even maybe those who dont have friend & family that hunt but have heard one way or another whats going on, perhaps via letters to the editor from hunters, on the internet or whatever else.
