RE: New Hunting Dog
I have hunted over both and have seen real good hunting vizla' s and real good hunting Brit' s, also seen real bad of both breeds as well.
They both have made great family members to.
Just a thought, but the vizla is a very short haired dog, not sure how bad your winters are or how late the seasons run, but the guy I know who hunts vizla' s has to be real careful on some late season hunts when it gets REAL cold here in the Northeast. It isn' t common but even 1 missed day due to cold would suck in my opinion. I don' t think Brit' s have the same problem.
