Mines nothing fancy but I like It. I just redid my recurve limbs this summer with a new finish. I didn't use a brush, I went out and bought the camo paint they sell In a spray can which has a real dull finish that won't give any shine off. The 1st coat I used was brown and the 2nd coat I used was black. I went and found a maple leaf from a tree and layed that across the limbs and outlined that leaf with the black spray paint. I think It turned out alright but If I was to do It right I'd put another coat of something over the paint so It doesn't scratch. Kanga would know what you should use for this, he frequents the traditional forum on here.

Here are the pics of my recurve after I put the limbs back on. My recurve Is a take down model, I painted the limbs while I had them off of the bow.
