arrow storage
came back after three months offshore and found i could not hit a barn door at 30m`s. thought to myself ok so ime out of practice. after a week it was not much better so i start checking all my equipment. eventually i find that nearly all my arrows have a runout of 2 to 3 mm`s!!!all my arrows are stored in a arrow case when ime offshore and anyway carbon shafts are not suposed to take up a "set" are they? looking closer at the arrow holders in the arrow case i found that they dont line up to well so they hold the shafts with a bit of a angle"ie bends them slightly when clipped in". anybody had the same problem before? anyway i now store my arrows upright and tip down in a wooden block with 8cm deep holes drilled in it so they stand without fletches touching and no tention on the shafts " never mind the fact that i had to buy 40 new shafts" anybody have a idea if the old shafts can be staightened?
