If you sight in your 20 pin, and then you move it will that not move what you just sighted in? When I start, I try to make sure the bottom of my sight ring is out of the way of the arrow flight. I do not want the arrow touching the bottom and giving poor flight. I then set my pins never moving the whole site again, unless of course I change the weight of the arrow, then I only change the whole site, no pins. Also when setting pins on a fast bow, you might want to shoot at start at 15yds and keep working your way back, without moving your pin. See how far you get before it drops out of the 10 ring, or bullseye. If you have a single track site, where all the pins slide on the same opening, you will set your pins with the 20 yd good from 0-25 or so yds, the next pin will be from 24 to 37yds and the next will be 35 to 45 or so yds. I hope you get what I'm saying.
