As far as accuracy a lot depends on the shooter. My tc encore shot good but with a little work became a really good shooter. The biggest problem with them is the slop in the hinge pin. You can get an adjustable hinge pin from E. Arthur Brown Co. for $21.00 its worth the money. With center fires, take the time and break the barrel in properly. The way I break mine in is clean the barrel good. For the first 10 shoots I clean the barrel after ever shot with a good solvent and brass brush. After the 10th shot I clean the barrel really good, then I run a worn brush wrapped with a cotton patch wrapped around it with J-B compound on it. About 10 strokes with the J-B, then clean the barrel really good again. Do the same for the next 10 shots the same way. Now your ready to do some testing. My 25-06 will shot 1/2 to 3/4 in. groups all day long now. As for the .50 it really helped with the grouping also.
