i' ve got 4 savages , and i' ve only had one problem with the one , it' s my model 99c in .243 that had a safety problem , it' s one of the last model 99' s that they made, every time i fired it the safety kicked on automatically after i pulled the trigger , i couldn' t even open the lever when that happened , other than that , they' ve been very accurate and reliable
