I would say start experimenting with different powders and loads, if you can shoot .5" groups with 150gr noslers and Swifts, you should be able to get it with the Barnes, you just probably havent found the powder combination for the Barnes. Myself, my load for the 300win mag with the Nosler BTs was always IMR 4350, when I switched to the Barnes TSX my groups opened up to 1.75" from .5, after trying several different powders and loads, I got back to .5 with RL22.
