I did the same thing a couple years ago. Took a dozen cedars, used an ebony stain on them and fletched them up with white shield cuts with white nocks. Made for a really nice looking batch of arrows. Only problem was they were really hard to find when the fletches had snaked under grass and leaves. I might do that again and use the chrome cap idea. How' s about topping it off with hot pink and chartreuse cresting?
