Maybe I don't know what I'm missing but I've never paid that much for a knife nor have I ever used a knife that cost that much. I'm happy with the knives I have and I just can't see spending that much unless I was guide or someone that used the heck out of them.

With that being said it looks like a great blade with good balance.
