So I'm not a big turkey hunter but I do enjoy it when I get out and do it. Deer hunting is my passion and that is what I was doing this last weekend here in Nebraska. I was sitting on top of a point watching some deer activity but also listening to the turkeys that were just getting ready to roost about 400 yards away from me in a grove of large cottonwood trees. I'm talking about a good 200 or so turkeys (the turkey population has boomed here in the last 10 years). Just when I start watching this buck chase a doe I hear a *CRACK* come from the direction of the turkeys roost. I look over and there is this very large limb about 3/4 up the tree crashing to the ground. Apparently they didn't read the weight limit sign . I got a good chuckle out of it!
