i only use 130gr hornady in my 270...they took down every deer i shot with it. with my savage they group at 3/8" at 100 yrds.
130's in a 270 perform as well as a 150gr in a 308 , the 270 is a bit flatter , the 308 has a tad more punch...it's just a very small trade-off.
the difference between a 308 and 270 is just an personal opinion...they are both very similar..
