You will want to bring two pair probably. I hunted up there late October this year and there was about 15" of snow in the area we were in. A week before there was little to no snow. Get a 1200 gram thinsulate or more for the cold and then a good pair of lighter insulation if there is no snow. Get what feels good as far as brand goes. Nothing more crappy than sore feet when your hiking in the mountains and have a long was to go.
