Cloud 9 you are right on the money. in years past I shot much more than I do now. I shot recreationally and now I fire a pistol once or twice a year to remain familiar and I hadn' t fired a rifle or shotgun since last year. I am not as accurate as I once was but I have confidence in my ability. I also have been practicing in the living room. holding basic marksmanship poses with the rifle. Practicing both standing and sitting as I am not sure which will be the way to go when I' m out in the woods. I will be out in the backyard with my crossbow tomorrow ( a good excuse to get my 7 year old out there with his bow.) I also put together my climbing stand and started practicing with it yesterday. I was surprised at how difficult it was to use. I looked at the instructions and watched the video and I was doing it wrong. I' ll be practicing with it again tomorrow.
