Get the replacement scope and use it as a spare. Replace it now with a basic Nikon or Leupold and you will be good to go. For the money, I have 4 Cabela's pine ridge scopes and they all hold through the recoil. 1 on a 25-06, 1 on a 7mm mag, and 2 on 50cal Mzls.
