I Bought a Hogue stocked Howa 1500 with a Nikko Sterling scope at Bass Pro Three weeks ago. Let me say I do really like the rifle. It is accurate and very comfortable to shoot. The scope on the other hand is a tragedy. It was fine during the sighting in,but after a whole one day of hunting the scope is fogged inside and there is actually a piece of something loose inside the scope that floats around and blocks the sight picture. I have never seen a scope actually fall apart in thirty years of hunting. They said I can send the scope back and they will send a new one after inspecting mine. Of course next week is my one week off to hunt so Im basically screwed. I realize that you usually dont expect a lot from a combo scope,but come on this is rediculous!
