Shot my first deer with a bow today. Got him at 6:45am. It just got light enough to shoot and here he came.

Shot him at 15 yards. Bucked like a bull and ran 40 yards. Then just stood still till he started staggering and fell over. I gave him an hour before getting down out of my stand. Even though I saw him fall I could not see him after he fell so I gave it an hour.

I'm ecstatic. He's a basket 7pt.
