I use 100 gr. pyrodex with 250 gr. sabet. Not all guns shoot the same. If you choose to go with loose granulars instead of pre-fixed pellets. This gives you more adjustment when at the range. At first I was shooting 90 gr. buck my bullet was tipping over at 50 yards. Check your bullet hole in the paper. You will need to adjust your load if your not punching out a perfectly round hole in the paper. If you can load up to 150 gr. in your gun, I would go as high as your gun allowes. This will let you reach out and touch your target further. I always shoot 50 yards and then 100 yards at the range. These guns today can with ease kill at 150-200 yards. Good Luck.
