If you don't like venison, or are in a EAB area and maybe have too much of it, or butcher yourself and don't know what to do with the scraps I found out about a cool thing...
Big Cat Rescue is in Rock Springs, Wi (west of Baraboo, South of Reedsburg). They rescue Lions, Tigers, Leopards etc from private parties and/or financially strapped zoos. Some of them are used for breeding. I'm guessing they have close to 40 animals that eat lots of meat.
They accept deer and deer meat (deer must be gutted, but hide can be on, meat can not be processed ie summer sausage). You can just drop it off, and they will allow you a free walk-through tour. If you have kids/grandkids, bring them it is very cool as you are only 4-5 feet from the cages and can see them very well.
