I hunt in central NY.
Have passed 5 different 6 to 8 pointers this year (along with several spikes and forks) that I am am sure where 1 1/2 old bucks. Under 3 pt/side AR they would have all been legal and able to be killed as 1 1/2 - same age as the spikes. Hard to find ANY logic in that.
