I shoot 165 grain Remington Core-lokt out of my Remington 700 .3006. Both deer I have shot with this rifle have hit the ground like a box of rocks, without taking another step.

I am also going to bring my Marlin 336 in .35 Remington, which is a sentimental rifle to me and I'd like to take a deer with it at some point.
