I went and picked up my bow and got to shoot it while I was there, the anchor on the nose works good, thanks, I can' t figure out how some of you put the fletching in your mouth though. I' m anchoring the string against my nose and am trying to find a reference point for the release against my jaw which is giving me the most trouble. While I was there I tried some new releases but I got the best groups with the one I had so I' ll see if it makes it another year. How often do you guys change them or what' s the normal life span before they start misfiring or do they at all?
By the way my fletchings were touching at 20 yards consistently. I can' t wait to try it out to 30 and 40 yrds, it was too winding to try today. Rangeball, I have a parker hunter mag it' s now set at 32" 67# with carbon force 300 arrows 30" long with 100 grain heads,
What would be the kenetic energy of this set up? It was shooting 272 fps but I don' t know now. Sorry for all the questions I' m still learning
