I live right on the border of NY and NJ(zone3) NJ has had 3point ARs for at least 8 years now, NY does not. I have hunted state land on both sides and I can assure you the NJ deer are no bigger. You can see it for yourself in the NJ outstanding deer program record books. Very few entrys at all for that zone.
