I personally prefer the moultrie cameras and specifically the IRs. My reason for the IR models is due to the long range of IR flash you don't get with a typical flash. Many occasions, I have had a deer in the foreground activate the camera only to find more deer/bucks in the background that a typical flash wouldn't have reached. I also would recommend you to stay away from the Wildview cameras. I have had nothing but problems with these cameras. I would really like for someone out there to prove me different.
LOL You knew somebody was gonna post a good experience with a Wildview so here goes. I have a Wildview Extreme2 that has done feeding pile duty since 2005. Its set on a 5 minute delay and averages around 50 pics per day/night now it hasnt even blinked since I started using it. Ive gotten well over 10000 pics with it. Its out from late Sept to late January. I bought it because it was cheap and it wouldnt break me if it got stolen. However I couldnt have asked for better service. Maybe I just got a good one but I am 100% tickled with the performance of that cam.
Now on the junk end I have a Wildgame Innovations 2.0 that is garbage...
