I took the pictures at the Double Diamond Deer Ranch. It is up in Cooks Forest! It is an awsome place.
$4.00 to go through the area where all the live deer are. Kids are allowed to feed the fawns bottles, and adults are allowed to feed the grown deer apples. They have something like 20 bucks there, plus some fawns, and some does. They actually have a doe there that is 20 years old!!!
$3.00 to get into the Buck Barn. It is a room that has 81 animal mounts in it. Deer, mountain lion, grouse, skunks, raccoons, rabbits, fox, coyote, moose, elk, bear, antelope, ect... They have the Hanson buck, the Jordan Buck, the Kansas King, the Kansas Double Drop, the PA Airport buck, and some other world class bucks.
They have a 740 pound black bear mount in there. That thing is the size of a truck!!!!
In the area where you pay, they have hundreds of sets of sheds from different bucks that they have had there. They have two black timber rattlesnakes in there also.
Pretty cool place.
