The SX-3 is a very nice gun. I have one and it shoots very nice. I have had one problem with the gun when shooting 2 3/4" shells; namely it jams up. I've been told that I can buy a different piston for the gun that will transfer more energy from the shell to the action, but it didn't bother me enough to do it. It might be something you would want to look into if you plan on using the gun for waterfowl and upland game.

The other problem I've seen happened to a buddy of mine. He bought the gun and took it directly to the range to try out BEFORE CLEANING the gun. After a half a box of shells the gun jammed up. It took him a few weeks to get all the gummed up grease worked out of the gun, but once he did; he hasn't had a problem since.

For the money, I think it's tough to get better than the SX-3.
