yea, agree with last few posters....moving is the biggest thing....

even turning your head to look is enough to spook a deer. they can see the movement well before you can probably see them...and they will swing wide around you.

look with your eyes and move your head veeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy slowly if you must turn it
