Thanks Sax. I've got some BH209 coming my-self and am a little nervous about hangfires. I haven't had a hang-fire once in my inlines. Its been a long time since I had a hangfire in my hawken either.

Sax, I was curious. You thought the BP had rem oil in it. Did it get there from oiling the barrel? I don't oil my SS rifle barrels at all. I make sure they are dry after cleaning but do not oil them. If you oil your rifle barrel whilst the BP is removed .... well that might be a good preventive measure for keeping oil out of the BP.
