Not sure what your asking since you state it shoots great and are impressed? Appears you've already been shooting it with some type of ammo??? With deer and the .308 dang near anything 150 - 180gr will work. 200 yard and under no need for any polymer or other tipped bullet, unless that is what shoots best in your rifle.
