Any backyard metal fabricator could make this in less than an hour. The angle was about 45 degrees. Let me know if you have further issues. I painted this one and gave it to a friend. I didn't paint the next one and it has not rusted with indoor use.

I made my own based on the Bowmender design. I used 1.25" x .25" steel bar with 0.5" holes drilled through. Use 0.5" bolts that are about 3" long and covered by rubber tubing. Added a quality rachet strap and it presses everything - split limb or otherwise.
